Kamran Qureshi presented his research paper “The impact of Transgender Persons Act, 2018 on the intersex community in Pakistan” at the international conference in the University of Lincoln.

It is a comparative study of the Transgender Act, 2018 and the United Nations Office of High Commissioner’s of Human Rights’ (UNOHCHR) recommendations in 2016 and analyses the difference in the lives of intersex people in Pakistan by effective media reporting, before and after the implementation of ‘the Transgender Persons Act, 2018’.

Special thanks to conference organisers, Megan Walker, Prof Richard Hand, Prof Eylam Atakav, Dr Sana Yasir, Iram Qureshi and Huda Qureshi for their love support and advice.
