GAMBLED DAUGHTER Aka ME AKELI HUN, The story of this play revolves around a poor Bengali family. The father Shareef is disheartened from the attitude of his bosses towards him due to being a Bengali, and started playing gambling as a way out. His wife works as maid for their bread and butter and hates Shareef because of his bad habits. Shareef loses his own daughter in gambling. The wife fights for her and gives herself to save daughter. But Shareef could not tolerate this, and murdered that man to save his wife.
